Symphony of Living DVD Evelyn Brent Al Shean (1935)
An aging violinist is betrayed and abandoned by his ungrateful children after an accident cripples his hands, leaving him destitute and begging on the streets. After years of hardship, old friends give him a job as a music teacher and one of his first pupils, though neither knows it, is his own grandson. When the boy proves to be a prodigy, he is given the opportunity to play for his grandfather's old orchestra. A good melodrama.
