Regular performers included Tennessee Ernie Ford, The Candy Mountain Girls, The Chordmen and Pee Wee King. The Old American Barn Dance was an American country and western music television show filmed in Chicago and carried by the DuMont Television Network from July 5 - September 13, 1953. The summer replacement program, hosted by Bill Bailey, aired on Sunday nights from 10:30 - 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
