Calvin and the Colonel DVD TV CARTOON AMOS N ANDY LOST EPISODES (1961)
Calvin and the Colonel was an animated cartoon television series in 1961 about a shrewd fox and a dumb bear.
The series was an animated remake of Amos 'n' Andy and featured the voices of Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll from the radio series.
Due to low ratings, the show was cancelled after one month, but returned three months later as a Saturday morning show, to complete the first season contract. It was also adapted as a comic book by Dell Comics, and as such was the final installment in the company's extremely prolific (more than 1,300 issues published) Four Color anthology series.
