This classic 1955 American Association of Railroads film, produced in cooperation with the Rock Island Railroad, salutes the great American Dream. It shows how America has prospered from its natural resources and by hard work. Featured in the film is a trip aboard the Santa Fe Super Chief. We travel to the Los Angeles Union Passenger Terminal to buy our tickets and then board this sleek stainless steel train. Along the way we are shown the modern conveniences that passengers enjoyed during the 1950s. We also visit the Railway Express car and watch the mail being sorted by armed postal workers.
